These terms apply when you buy furniture from Mirage Furniture. Please read them before you accept a quotation.
1. About us
Mirage Furniture designs and makes outdoor furniture in White River, Mpumalanga, South Africa.
2. Quotations
- Our furniture is sold by quotation. Please get in touch.
- A quotation is valid for the period stated on it.
- Prices shown on this website as “From” are a guide only. The price on your written quotation is the price that applies.
- Prices are in South African Rand and include VAT.
- Choices such as finish, colour, size or weave may change the price.
3. Placing an order
An order is accepted once you confirm the quotation in writing and we receive your deposit.
4. Deposit and payment
- A deposit, as stated on your quotation, is payable to start production.
- The balance is payable as stated on your quotation.
- Our banking details are on your quotation.
5. Made-to-order and lead times
Our furniture is handcrafted. Lead times are an estimate and start once your deposit is received. Small variations in finish and weave are a natural part of handmade work.
6. Delivery
- Delivery costs are quoted separately.
- You or your representative should check the goods on delivery and tell us in writing of any visible damage.
- Risk passes to you on delivery.
7. Ownership
The goods remain the property of Mirage Furniture until they are paid for in full.
8. Changes and cancellation
Because each order is made for you, changes or cancellation after production has started may not be possible, or may be charged.
9. Returns and refunds

10. Warranty
Our products are covered by our furniture warranty.
11. Trade and discounts
Trade and hospitality customers can contact us about trade pricing.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act. Subject to that, our liability is limited to the price of the goods concerned.
13. Privacy
We use your personal information only to respond to your enquiry and fulfil your order. See our privacy policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa.
